Doctor Who Stars Will Appear In Tree Fu Tom

              Doctor Who stars David Tennant (the 10^th Doctor) and Sophie Aldred (Ace, companion to the 7^th Doctor) are working together on a new children’s program. The show, Tree Fu Tom, will be a fantasy adventure through a magical, tiny woodland world with Aldred playing the lead as Tom and Tennant playing Tom’s sidekick Twigs.  Tom is a regular 8 year old who uses “Tree Fu” to shrink to a tiny size and go on adventures with Twigs and a cast of other character.  The computer-generated series will focus on having the children participate in gentle movements that Tom preforms on screen. The series hopes to get kids, especially those with movement disorders, to be excited to “cast Tree Fu magic” with Tom.  These physical movements are also specifically designed to help children with Dyspraxia, which up to 10% of children have. Tree Fu Tom will appear on British children’s channel CBeebies later this year.
