In Yosemite national park, ever year a strange event occurs. It is only noticeable if you are in the right spot at the right time but when you see it in action it blows your mind. Lava pours over the side of this mountain, arcing like a waterfall. Ok it is not really lava. It is actually a waterfall called Horsetail Fall and it comes off the side of a large slab of granite called el Captain. The reason the water looks the way it does has to do with the placement of the earth in relationship to the sun. So no folks this is not shooting lava. Still pretty cool.
